Building Scope:
Recreation of Electrical & Mechanical Services Dept of HKSAR old headquarters by BIM for heritage preservation purpose. The BIM model is built from the hand sketches of old drawings with photos. 3D rendering walk through simulation is created and will be projected in the virtual reality cave.
- An eleven-storey office building (High Block) and two selected floors with furniture, fixtures & fittings including desks, workstations, cabinets, appliances and loose equipment.
- A five-storey building for an apprentice workshop.
- A seven-storey building for staff quarters.
- A three one-storey workshops.
- A one-storey storage shed.
- A covered vehicle workshop.
- An underground carpark.
- The surrounding area of Caroline Hill Road along the vehicular access.
BIM Scope of Works
- Site survey and photo taking
- Rebuild the architecture & structure BIM model by photo and record drawings
- Rebuild the landscaping model
- Interior design modelling including furniture for 3F & 7F
- Walkthrough simulation & animation
- Rendering simulation
- Flythrough/Walkthrough Video, Virtual Reality (VR) path and animation
