Building Scope:
The relocation of the Sha Tin Sewage Treatment Works (STSTW) to caverns, with a view to releasing the existing site (about 28 hectares) for other beneficial uses.
BIM Scope of Works:
Liaison and co-ordination with all concerned parties as required for the preparation, updating and submission of information using the BIM models
Submission of the draft as-built BIM Model prior to the issue of the Practical Completion Certificate of the Works;
Handing over the final, approved as-built 3D BIM Model prior to the issue of the Defects Liability Certificate complying with the requirements of the Specification, BIM Standard Manual and Computer Aided Design (CAD) Standard Manual as given in the Specification – Technical, Appendix SP.N and Appendix SP.O to the Specification – Preliminaries
- To conduct design visualization for space and aesthetic purposes.
- To identify, analyze and resolve all coordination issues before actual site work.
- To demonstrate the DfMA and resolve any issues for pre-fabrication & assembly before actual site work.
- To develop a information database showing as-built condition with as-built routing and facilities information that can be handed over for facility management use.
- To create standard BIM Family and program for reuse in the next phase of the project
- Delivery of the LOD500 BIM model for asset management and operation.
